Camp Chetek Summer Update 1

It’s hard to believe how fast this summer is going by! I have failed to keep a week by week update of our summer so far at Camp Chetek, so I am going to post a few updates in order of the weeks and events.

After dropping Debbie and the boys off at Debbie’s parents home in Cedarburg,WI, I arrived at Camp Chetek in Chetek, WI on May   22. I met with my T.E.A.M. (Teens Entering Active Ministry) counselors and over a period of three days had 13 teaching and preaching sessions with them.

I then had the privilege the following week to preach six different times for the main services during Staff Training. I also was able to teach four sessions for returning summer staff. I praise the Lord that He used His Word to work in many hearts. Our nearly two and a half week staff training went extremely well and we are thankful how God used that time to prepare our staff for our very demanding summer.
